Hello! I created this page in order to quickly share writer resources with emerging writers and friends alike. Here are some things that have helped me and I return to again and again. Maybe they will help you too. I will update this page once in a while when I have new resources to add. Feel free to share it with others!
Trades: It’s always a good idea to follow the trades on social media or check in from time to time to hear the latest news in the film and TV industry.

General Resources:
Read Scripts: It’s really important to read scripts and often hard to get your hands on examples of indsutry-ready writing. Check out these resources which are usually updated annually.
Contests/Fellowships: These opportunities change year to year, but here are some resources to track them. You can always Google “TV writing fellowships” to find the latest openings. Fellowships are a great way to make industry connections (both peers and mentors) as well as workshop your writing and build a name for yourself. I recommend applying to the fellowships that are focused on helping you network (by pairing you with a mentor, or introducing you to industry pros) vs the ones that promise a “cash prize.”

Coverfly is also a great place to create a profile, upload scripts, and submit to contests.
